Expectations is our Futures Without Violence newsletter. This mini-journal “pictures a world without violence” and not only updates readers on Futures Without Violence news and happenings, but also ventures into the public discussion to provide insight into progressive issues facing our work.
Past feature articles profiled elected female leaders in Chile and Liberia, discussed the paradigm shift of engaging men and boys in preventing violence against women, highlighted a groundbreaking study on child abuse, and issued a special report on the Virginia Tech Massacre of April 2007 that included first hand reporting and research from a small team of Futures Without Violence reporters/researchers and freelance journalists.
