New Resources for California Advocates and Providers

New Resources for California Advocates and Providers

Futures Without Violence, formerly Family Violence Prevention Fund, has received funding from the California Endowment to increase awareness among health care providers, nonprofit organizations, shelters, and domestic violence advocacy agencies in Los Angeles. This program seeks to inform local providers about funding resources and opportunities for programmatic improvements connected to the economic recovery package to prevent and reduce violence against women and girls. In this program local providers will learn about federal legislation that impacts your community including the Victims of Crime Act, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families and the Violence Against Women Act.
