Coaching Boys into Men Launches New Kit
How do you teach boys to respect the women and girls in their lives? Coaching Boys into Men (CBIM), a Futures Without Violence public education initiative, engages athletic coaches to provide an answer to that question.

The CBIM Coaches Leadership Program equips coaches with the tools and resources necessary to talk to their athletes about the importance of respecting women and girls.

The CBIM Coaches Kit is a key component of the Coaches Leadership Program, and provides coaches with an easy to follow 12-week curriculum. CBIM recently undertook a major revision to the Coaches Kit materials. The new version of the Coaches Kit includes additional resources for coaches, as well as two new lessons on Digital Disrespect and Understanding Consent.

“The latest revisions to the CBIM Coaches Kit are a critical step for CBIM,” according to CBIM Director Feroz Moideen. The revisions were heavily influenced by the true experts in this field—coaches—and they are an example of how direct feedback from coaches can be incorporated into materials and improve the program overall.

The newest version of the Coaches Kit is now available to download at Contact us at for more information on how you can bring CBIM to your community!
