Day 5: FAIR Girls

Day 5: FAIR Girls

FAIR Girls is a US-based nonprofit that prevents the exploitation of girls worldwide through prevention education, compassionate care, and survivor advocacy. The organization seeks to create opportunities for girls to become confident, happy, and healthy young women.

To aid in their educational outreach efforts, FAIR Girls developed Tell Your Friends, a four-module curriculum that incorporates lessons about human trafficking prevention. Each year, the curriculum is used to educate over 1,000 Washington, D.C. public high school students.

The curriculum consists of interactive lesson plans designed to engage and challenge high school students to think critically about human trafficking and how society and popular culture contribute to sexual exploitation of youth their age.
