Donate to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund

Donate to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund and help victims of family violence and sexual assault affected by the disaster in the Gulf Coast. Even in the best of times, people whose lives are devastated by violence and sexual assault are often underserved. This Katrina Relief Fund has been established through an initial gift from the Family Violence Prevention Fund to provide practical support to many of those hardest hit.

This fund assists organizations that have lost considerable infrastructure to process donations themselves. Of course donors are welcome to contribute directly to the following:

Louisiana Domestic Violence Coalition Relief Fund, established to help victims of domestic violence in Louisiana. The Louisiana Coalition will help the FVPF distribute funds in local communities via shelters and outreach programs that have direct links to the survivors of Hurricane Katrina most in need. lcadv.org

Louisiana Rape Relief, set up by the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault, helping sexual assault victims and programs that have been affected by the hurricane. louisianaraperelief.org

Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence, hard hit by Katrina, providing critical services to domestic violence victims throughout the state. The Coalition will help the FVPF distribute funds in local communities via shelters and outreach programs that have direct links to the survivors of Hurricane Katrina most in need. mcadv.org

We want to hear from you: When you give, please be sure we have your email address so we can keep you updated about the impact your generosity has on people who need it so much. As you hear of good work and success stories in affected areas, tell us. You can always reach us as info@endabuse.org

Give now!

PLEASE TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT 100% OF YOUR TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION WILL BE PASSED DIRECTLY TO RELIEF EFFORTS WITH NO COSTS DEDUCTED BY THE FVPF.
