RESPECT! Challenge 2013
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2013 RESPECT! Challenge. To check out the national and regional winners, CLICK HERE!
At the heart of the RESPECT! Challenge is a simple question: Who would you like to thank for teaching you Respect? Futures Without Violence and Macy’s, the Founding National Partner of the RESPECT! Campaign, have launched the 2013 RESPECT! Challenge to acknowledge the ordinary heroes who made an extraordinary impact in our lives.
By promoting individuals who encourage positive solutions to violence, we helped raise awareness and spark a discussion about the importance of role models. Participants can submit short essays or videos to the Facebook application, or by using #RespectChallenge on Instagram or Twitter.
The grand prize winner will receive $10,000 for the school or nonprofit organization of their choice, a $500 gift certificate, and a VIP trip to New York City for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Additionally, eight regional winners will receive $2,500 for a school or nonprofit organization of their choice, a $2,500 scholarship, and a $250 Macy’s gift card.
Contest begins on September 8th, 2013 at 9am PST and ends October 25th, 2013 at 6pm PST. Good luck!
