Technical Assistance

The National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence provides personalized, expert technical assistance (i.e. consultation) to health care practitioners, administrators and systems, domestic violence experts, students, policy makers, and others at all levels as they improve health care's response to domestic violence.  The Center is funded by a grant from the Family Violence Prevention & Services Program, Family & Youth Services Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and is a member of the Domestic Violence Resource Network (DVRN).

Please note: We do not provide crisis services. If you are in an abusive relationship and need assistance, please call the toll-free National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). If you are in immediate danger, please call 911.

Technical assistance includes the ability to contact Center staff by email, phone and fax to help facilitate the work being conducted in the are of health care's response to domestic violence.  Please view our educational and clinical tools and resources in our Health Material Index.
