Kennedy BrooksProgram Assistant, Learning and Leadership Team

Kennedy Brooks is the Program Assistant at Futures Without Violence, working on the Learning and Leadership team. Brooks was a Comparative Women’s Studies major at Spelman College, where it drove her to continue leading the path in educating and creating a global community of progressive women and men who envision a world free from injustice, exploitation, violence, poverty, waste, greed, illness and misogyny. This opportunity shaped Kennedy’s career trajectory and helped her realize that serving underrepresented communities is where her heart lied. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree from Spelman, Kennedy went on to receive her master’s degree at Georgetown University in Engaged and Public Humanities. She enjoys any opportunity to serve her community and strive to change the world. In her free time, Kennedy enjoys cooking, spending time with her dogs, Karma and Knox, and binge watching shows.
