We thank Senators Murkowski and Blunt Rochester fo We thank Senators Murkowski and Blunt Rochester for introducing the bipartisan Family Violence Prevention and Services Improvement Act of 2026!

FVPSA is the foundation of our nation’s response to domestic violence and the only federal funding source dedicated to shelters, hotlines, tribes, and community programs survivors rely on. This marks the first reauthorization in more than a decade and an important step forward.

The bill expands funding, strengthens tribal and culturally specific responses, invests in prevention, enhances national technical assistance, and helps ensure survivors facing barriers can access safety and support.

We are grateful to the national, tribal, and community partners united in support of survivors and stronger FVPSA protections.
